Effective September 2020 Louisiana State PTA started using the Cheddar-Up platform to collect dues payments from our local units. LAPTA will not accept paper checks -- please do not send them. LAPTA is accepting e-checks and does not charge our local units a transaction fee. Your local unit does not have to have a Cheddar-Up account to make a payment. Payments are due by the 15th of each month. A Member Card template is available on the site for download when you submit your dues. LAPTA will not be providing paper cards this year. You may use the template for distribution to your members if you like.
Starting in October 2020 local units are required to submit a copy of their New Members Roster with the dues payment. A template to use is provided on the payment information page.
In addition, the LAPTA Board of Directors, and the St. Tammany District PTA BOD are encouraging each local unit to set up an online store like Cheddar-Up or PTBoard this year to facilitate on-line membership sales. Each local unit can decide on the platform they want to use for their operations. If you are looking at setting up an on-line store and have some questions please contact us at email@example.com
